A few months back we had a new Outlet Mall open up in town, a lot closer to me than the other two in the valley. It’s the West Gate Outlets located at the up and coming area of West Gate in Peoria! I have only been to the outlet twice as I have to find time in my busy schedule to go shopping… unless it’s grocery shopping of course. The first thing I did when I arrived was head over to the Customer Service center where you can purchase an outlet coupon book for $5. If you’re serious about shopping then it’s worth it! They even had a promotion going on, if you spent $125 at the mall you could bring your receipts back and receive a nice measuring spoon set. The nice woman also gave me some extra coupons for 20% off, valid at several stores in the Outlet Mall.
The Outlet Mall is very nicely setup with fountains and other water features even a big outdoor fireplace to sit around on those cooler nights.
If you have kids and are planning on exploring the stores, I would recommend bring quarters for the ride on machines to keep the kids from getting too bored of shopping.

The food court is non-existent but they do have a Subway and a China Max Chicken Now (which I have never heard of). Both these places have indoor seating. Although I would suggest grabbing you food and taking it to the comfy fireplace seating, if it’s not too hot outside!

Being a child at heart I was excited to see a Hot Topic here and my daughter loved it as well, with all the cartoon character accessories!
They were having a sale Buy one get one half off, which made for some great prices. My favorite outlet however was the Book Warehouse, books get so expensive at the store and unfortunately all the other book outlets from the other malls in the area have disappeared, so finding hot deals like 4 for $10 was very exciting for me. Rue 21 used to be my favorite store when I moved out here and it’s nice to see they still have some hot prices on their clothing!

A few of the stores I was surprised to see were; Direct Tools (yes, guys you’re going to want to shop here too), Toys R Us Express? (I think these used to be KB Toys), Bare Minerals, and A Gift for any Gal (had an eclectic mix of beautiful trinkets).

I would certainly suggest stopping by the Customer Service before you start shopping, you never know what kind of coupons they may give you if you just ask!
