-- Queenstown Premium Outlets – Located in Queenstown, Maryland, this mall has more than 60 outlet stores, and it is only 10 miles away from the Chesapeake Bay Bridge.

-- Leesburg Corner Premium Outlets – This mall is in Leesburg, Virginia and features more than 110 outlet stores where you can buy designer fashions, electronics, furniture and more.

-- Hagerstown Premium Outlets – This mall is in Hagerstown, Maryland and offers more than 100 stores and a food court. There is even a playground for the kids.

-- Potomac Mills Outlet Mall – You will find more than 220 outlet stores in this mall, located in Prince William, Virginia. Some of the stores include RACK, Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5th, Nordstrom and more. There is also a movie theatre with 18 cinemas and plenty of dining options.

-- Arundel Mills – Located in Hanover, Maryland this is one of the largest shopping centers in the Baltimore/Washington area. Here you will find more than 200 specialty stores, restaurants and a movie theatre and an entertainment complex for teens.

In addition to these malls, there are many other smaller shopping centers, stand-alone stores and plenty of other shopping opportunities in Maryland and the surrounding area.

Things to See and Do

Maryland is an area that is rich in history, and offers something for everyone. You can visit the Eastern Shore, located on the eastern side of the Chesapeake Bay, which is the most popular attraction in the area. Here you will be able to visit historic towns, lounge on beautiful beaches and visit places including Ocean City and Assateague Island. -- Six Flags America – Everyone loves theme parks, and this one offers more than 100 rides, as well as shows and a fun and exciting water park. Try out eight different roller coasters, meet Bugs Bunny and more from April through October every year.

-- Brookside Gardens – This is a beautiful spot offering a variety of gardens, including a butterfly garden and a children’s garden. While visiting the gardens, ask about the educational programs that are offered for both children and adults.
