History

Converse was started back in the early 1900s by a man named Marquis Mills Converse who was the former manager of a footwear firm. Converse opened the Converse Rubber Shoe Company in the early 1900s in Massachusetts. The company was unlike any other in the fact that it provided rubber soled footwear for men, women and children.
